Think Back With Anna

Anna has recently released her new track 'Think Back With Me' with producer and Creep Mouse guitarist Ben Keating. This isn't Anna's first collaboration with Ben, they previously worked on 'Growing Old' which featured on BBC Shropshire, BBC Hereford and Worster Introducing and the Lizzy Crow BBC Sounds mix and there is much more to come!

'Think Back With Me' was written in lockdown by Anna, around the same time she wrote 'Together'. Both these songs have similar uplifting ideologies behind them, as it was Anna's intention to represent a time of reflection and optimism in a bleak situation. This theme is also showcased in her brand new music video for 'Think Back With Me', which is comprised of all family footage, giving us a warm nostalgic feeling's and a deeper insight into Anna's personal life. Anna made a comment about her new release...

"This song is very simple, yet it has great emotional meaning for me. I was going through a period of nostalgia in lockdown, as I had a bit of free time to do the things I enjoyed and in some ways this made me feel like a kid. However, I knew the virus was devastating for many and those unaffected by the virus were often left feeling isolated. I believed things would get better though and throughout it all, I saw glimpses of love and reconnection that were often lost in a usually fast paced world. Instead of constantly focusing on the negatives, I wanted people to experience the same optimistic feeling's I was having by reflecting on what once was and will be again. This is also a reminder to people that our present will soon become our past and in the future we will reflect back, so make every day count! The smallest act can make the biggest difference."
