Anna Silvers’ latest single, Night Falls Over, is a fresh and exciting departure from her usual sound. Written in 2023 whilst studying at LIPA, this track represents a fun experiment in style, blending nostalgic touches of house, pop, and disco into a dance vibe perfect for summer nights.
Anna explains that Night Falls Over “explores a subject learning to love themselves and others from a place of calm, rather than chaos. It’s about slowing down and looking inward for love and acceptance rather than outwards.” As she puts it, “It’s okay if things don’t go to plan or take longer than usual - just allow the night to fall over you and be in the moment. You might find you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, even if you can’t see it right now.”
After writing and recording the initial parts, Anna teamed up with Martin Quinn (Quibble), who creatively sampled and chopped up her vocals, bringing the final piece to life with his expert production. This collaboration adds a dynamic layer to the track’s nostalgic yet fresh sound.
The single’s artwork, shot by Lilinoe Stutz, perfectly complements the track’s vibe and story.

Lyrically, Night Falls Over tells the story of two people caught in the night’s energy. Anna wanted to capture the fleeting nature of those nights that end but linger in memory. Although, dance isn’t Anna’s main genre, she enjoys exploring all genres and found this would be the perfect opportunity to experiment and work with new creatives! Martin (a specialist in this area) brought Anna's draft to life and executed it with confidence and creativity.
As the single drops, Anna invites listeners to “take what they need from the song.” Dance, sing, scream, slow down, fall in love, fall out of love, whatever you need. Let the night fall over and live in the moment.
